Help for 'Day In The Life'

Entries for this project can be in the form of :
Video (supply us with digital
movie file, or enter a link to
a YouTube video or similar) Photo-slideshow (create a
photo slideshow online, see below
for details) Written word (Enter a link
to a webpage or document or supply us with text file or enter
online)
You can enter online via this website,
or simply hand in you material to Lorraine. A camcorder is also
available via lorraine for those who wish to record a video record,
but have no camera.
If you already have a video or a slideshow on YouTube or similar,
which you would like to enter, you can supply the link and other
info on the entry page
You Tube Videos
We can accept videos stored on YouTube or any site that provides
you with 'embed' code for online entries, URL links will not
work.
When filling out the submission form, you should enter the Youtube
link as Follows:
Copy and paste the embed code from Youtube or other site to
the Video URL field on our form.
Please fill in all the fields on the form as they are used
in the online display. Of course your email address is not displayed.
I you don't supply an email address and there is a problem with
your submission, we will be unable to include it. All entries
are checked by a moderator and inappropriate or offensive material
will be blocked.
This is all we need to link to your video and show it on the
site.
If you have any problems, then simply email the entire embed
code, together with your details, name, video title etc to submissions
by email and wee will submit it for you.
Photo Slideshows
If you decide to take photos, ,you can combine them into an
online slideshow.
You can create slideshows online for free at many sites.
They allow you to upload photos from you PC, create the slideshow
and obtain 'embed' code that you can use here.
We have tested slide.com, flextor.com
and onetruemedia.com all
of which work here.
Once you have created your slideshow , click on their 'Get
Codes' button (or whatever link is appropriate for that site)
and you will see the codes that we require. If you have a choice,
always select the 'embed code' option.
Copy the embed code from the slideshow site and past into the
Slideshow link box on our submission form.
If you have any problems, then simply email the entire code,
together with your details, name, slideshow title etc to submissions
by email

You can enter a link on the submissions page, to a webpage, document
or similar, or simply supply us with a text file containing your
submission via submissions
by email or drop it in to Lorraine.
(always include your
email address in case of problems with your submission)
